Obituary of Marcia Jean Moore
Tribute
Marcia Jean Cartwright, daughter of James Burton and Emma Jean Cartwright was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado.
Married Thomas Owen Moore on November 25, 1966. The lovebirds met on the famous “Hill” in Boulder, Colorado as college sweethearts and the rest is history.
Marcia is survived by her faithful husband Tom, two lovely children, Megan and Micah and spouses Christian, Sarah, and five beautiful grandchildren Emma, Eden, Chloe, Caroline and Caleb.
Marcia had several life-long cherished friends. Marcia enjoyed being a servant and assisting others. She had a true sense of style and fashion, which came easy to her, and she shared graciously with others as a Personal Shopper at Joslins Department Store.
Marcia was the founding director of H.O.P.E (Helping Others Pursue Excellence) from 1995-2019. H.O.P.E was a seven-week program which served women who were exiting the prison system. It was through this program that Marcia shared the love of Jesus Christ with women, helping them develop essential life and social skills to be productive and contributing members of society.
Marcia enjoyed walking, shopping, and sunbathing and took several trips to Hawaii. Tom and Marcia were members of the Christian Home Fellowship from 1972 – present. Marcia loved the Lord.
Tom misses Marcia each and everyday.
