Obituary of Warren Werkmeister
Warren Werkmeister, 72 presently of Oceanside, California formerly of Longmont, Colorado passed away on August 1, 2022 due to pancreatic cancer.
Warren was born on February 17, 1950 in McCook Nebraska, the middle son of Earnest and Patricia (Orman) Werkmeister. He married Patricia M Lowery on October 10, 1970. They have celebrated 51 years of marriage.
In 1954 Warren moved to Longmont where he graduated Longmont High School in 1969. He met his wife Patricia in Longmont where they had two daughters, Jennifer and Jaime.
Warren studied to be a Tool and Die Maker through the Hewlett Packard internship program. He worked in this profession for 53 years. He began his career at Hewlett Packard Loveland, Colorado and was transferred to San Diego, California and retired from Custom Engineering Plastics San Diego, California. In addition to working for companies, he had his own Tool and Die business in his garage.
Warren enjoyed playing golf on days that ended in Y. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, hiking, and cherished the times they spent with their grandchildren. In earlier years Warren could be found fishing, camping, hunting, and scuba diving.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Oceanside, California, daughter Jennifer Perry (Sean) of San Diego, California, daughter Jaime Willoughby (Patrick) of Shoreview, Minnesota; grandchildren Portia Perry, Sam Willoughby, and Ellie Willoughby; mother, Patricia Werkmeister Vista, California; brother Larry Werkmeister (Barbara) Palisades, Texas; brother-in-law Wayne Lowery (Teresa); nieces, nephews, other relatives , and dear friends. Warren was preceded in death by his brother, Dale and father, Earnest.
