Kip and I went to school together. He was the type of person that other people were drawn to. He could always make others smile and never had anything bad to say about anyone. He will be sorely missed by so so many. R.I.P. my friend.

I remember rafting the Green River in Flaming Gorge with him. We were in separate rafts and hed entice us with imaginary roast beef sandwiches and cold beverages. Wed paddle over to collect some food and drinks and hed bombard us with giant splashes of the cold river water. I dont think ive ever laughed so hard in my nearly 60 years:)) Love him and will miss him greatly.

Kipper, we will miss you. You were always so enthusiastic and crazy! We have so many great memories from family reunions where you would lead us down some adventure, like mountain biking, tubing and rafting. We thought we would all die on that last rafting trip but you were our captain and we all made it back safe and sound. Our kids adored you and will forever have great memories of their adventures with you. Also I will never forget how you took care of Dad when he was in hospice. You had such a big caring heart.

My dad was the funniest, kindest most loving man I know. He would do anything just to see my sisters and I smile. Its been tough without him but I continue to get up everyday and do my very best just for him. I know hes looking down on us with a big smile and a great view. Thank you Peter. Loved the relationship you, Kip and David had growing up. I remember your folks telling me that Kip would fall asleep at seven oclock in front of the tv and you and David would be up till midnight. U are right. So many wonderful memories.

I noticed that several of Kips family and friends have donated to buy a tree through this site. I want to thank you so very much for your donations. I do want you all to know there is a GO FUND ME page for Kips three daughters. One works and goes to school full time; one works and starts school in November; and, the other one works full time. They definitely could use financial help. We are all devastated and heartbroken by his death. Not sure I am ever going to heal from my only son going to Heaven before me. But, I have to believe that Paul, whom he always called dad, g & g Vondrasek, Auntie Ruth, Don R, g Gene, other relatives and friends were there to welcome him into the Kingdom of God. If I didnt believe he was surrounded by all that love, I would go crazy. Dad and Kipper are probably on the golf course already. Thank you to all who have contacted me. Your words have been beyond comforting. His legacy will be his three daughters. His ashes will be buried on September 29 at 2:00 in the cemetery on Main St in Longmont, CO.
