Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend was born on May 2, 1927 in Max, North Dakota to Andrew and Mary (Roth) Broneske. Paul’s family only spoke German, so he was able to learn English once he started school. Over the years, they lived in North Dakota, South Dakota (where Richard, Kim, and Sue were born), Montana (Linda), Idaho, Washington, Colorado, California, & Oregon. In 1983, Paul and Doris started working as managers of apartment complexes and senior mobile home parks for another 16 years. Following Doris’ passing on May 8, 1999, Paul was active at the Senior Center and met Eleanor (Ellie) Christopher who remained his friend and companion for 17 years. Paul’s longest employments were at Dworshak Dam (living in Lewiston, Idaho for 14 years), Hanford Nuclear Plant (Richland, Washington), and Candlewood Mobile Home Park in Petaluma, California. In 2000, at the age of 73, Paul worked part time for Safeway as a handyman for another 6 ½ years. He will be remembered for family road trips and his jokes and stories, always remembering the dates and names of those involved.
