Obituary of Helen Borger

Tribute Helen Maxine Borger, 81 years of age, of Torrington, WY passed away, November 9, 2022 from Colon Cancer. She was born to Harry Armstrong and Edith Pearl McCammon, on October 5, 1941, in Boulder, Colorado. Helen graduated from La Salle High School in 1959. She attended Pasadena College (currently Point Loma Nazarene University). She also attended a business college in Boulder Colorado. Helen was married to the late Edward Bryce Hall on April 17, 1966, at the First Nazarene Church, in Boulder, Colorado. They lived in Boulder and Longmont, Colorado. She later married the late Robert Kent Borger on January 2, 1993, at the Longmont Church of the Nazarene. Helen is survived by three children: Marlane Borger (Kyle), of Torrington, Wyoming; Dorothy Hall of Longmont, Colorado, and Maxine Guill (Jeff), of Berthoud, Colorado. She is also survived by children from combined families: Bryce Hall, Penny Meyer, Kevin Borger, and Kenton Borger. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, which she adored greatly. Helen loved spending time outside in her flower and vegetable gardens. Every spring she would have a “Crazy Flower” shopping trip. She created some wonderful crocheted and embroidery items. She loved spending time traveling and camping with family and friends. Helen was an animal lover. She had numerous, cats, dogs and farm animals over her life time. Helen was an active member of the Nazarene Church. She served on church boards, taught Sunday school, assisted with missions, and was a part of Women’s Ministry. She would often be found in the church kitchen helping with dinners. There will be a graveside service for Helen on Friday, 18th of November, at the Foothill Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm, near Longmont, Colorado.
