We are a privately-owned, family-focused funeral home dedicated to making a difference for those we serve. Heath R. Carroll
Funeral Director/General Manager
Heath is a native of Colorado. He was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. He began Funeral Service in 1996 at the age of 16, working for the largest Funeral Service provider in the United States at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley, Colorado.
Heath graduated from Greeley Central High School and then attended college in Dallas, Texas where he graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1998. Heath then returned to Greeley to become the manager of Stoddard Funeral Home specializing in making each funeral service a unique and memorable experience. He is a certified funeral director and embalmer, with a special talent in Reconstruction and Restorative Art.
Heath is married to Reanna (Hoy) and they have two children, Loralei and Landon. In his spare time; Heath enjoys spending time with his family, five dogs and riding his Harley with his wife. Heath is involved in many organizations past and present; he is working with Drive Smart Weld County, 19th Judicial Victims Compensation and Law Enforcement Board, Tailgate the Safety Way, National Crime Prevention Council 2007 Presenter, Suicide Education/Support Services and he is a board member for El Comite de Longmont. He is also the Past President of the Colorado Association of Cemeteries.
Reanna K. Carroll (Hoy)
Pre Arrangement Counselor/Funeral Arranger
Reanna was born and raised in the Longmont/Mead area. She loves helping families through the hardest times in their life. Her creativity allows her to design services for families to exactly what they want. She is married to Heath and they have five dogs.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband and driving her collector cars.
Melvin Paxton is a native of Longmont. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served four years. He was a letter carrier with the Postal Service for thirty years. He became involved in the funeral business in 1998. Mel says, “I feel honored and privileged to help families dealing with the loss of a loved one.” Mel joined the Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services family in November of 2017.
Robert Sweeney, Jr.
Advance Planning Director
Bob lives in Longmont with his wife Lacy; they have been married 33 years. They have four children Ben, Rafferty, Clara and Grace. He has an AAS Degree in Business Management; he also has various awards for Business, Insurance and customer service. He is a Certified Senior Adviser Course graduate. He also has his licenses in Colorado to sell Life and Health Insurance. He had 20+ years as a Dairy Farmer; and has experience with John Deere, Equitable Life, US Healthcare Group and The Hartford. He has helped establish two new retail outlets for different companies. He has also been involved in the Coffee Business, in the service and repairs department, for 10 years. He really enjoys serving families and helping them with their long term funeral needs. He enjoys spending time on his small farm raising Nubian goats for which he uses their milk to make homemade cheese and yogurt. He has a large garden and loves the county living. He also enjoys his 25 acres that he has a grass hay farm on.
Assistant Funeral Director
Douglas P. Reedy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 24, 1946. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1968. He worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 30 years as a Director of Field Operations for the Office of the Inspector General. He then retired and moved to Longmont in 2004. He started working part time as a Directors Assistant at Carroll-Lewellen in 2009. Doug has been married to Katherine for 46 years and has one daughter, Elizabeth Reedy Dunn who is married to Scott Dunn. Doug has three grandchildren: Rebecca, Grace and Christopher. The whole family lives in Longmont.
Kathy was born in Philadelphia. She moved to Longmont in 2004 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Kathy has years of experience in customer service starting with 15 years working for Bell of Pennsylvania and AT&T. Before joining Carroll-Lewellen she was the assistant manager for Overlook apartments and a leasing agent for Clover Basin Village Apartments in Longmont. Kathy loves assisting families with receptions and celebration of life services. She has a huge heart which allows her to assist families and leave a good lasting memory of their loved ones. Kathy has been married to Doug for 46 years and has one daughter, Elizabeth Reedy Dunn who is married to Scott Dunn. Kathy has three grandchildren: Rebecca, Grace and Christopher.
